Piddle Pads® are for ferrets too!
Though many people associate the use of Piddle Pads® with dogs, they can be useful for ferrets as well. There are a variety of situations in which Piddle Pads® can be helpful. These include:
- When your ferret chooses a toilet area where a litter box will not fit
- When your ferret is recovering from surgery and cannot climb into a litter pan
- When you need to keep close track of your ferret's waste, such as after surgery or during an illness
- When you have an older, incontinent ferret
- When traveling
- When your ferret refuses to use a litter pan
- When you want to protect the carpet in front of the litter box
Piddle Pads® decrease clean up time, and they only need to be changed once a day. Most ferrets will use them without having to be trained as long as you put them in an established bathroom area. If your ferret views them as a toy, here are a few tricks you can try:
